Board of Governors

The Notary Foundation’s funds and activities are overseen by a Board of Governors consisting of eleven members; three appointed by the government British Columbia (one of whom is from the office of the Attorney General) and eight appointed by and from within the Directors of the Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia.

The Governors meet on a regular basis to review grant applications and reports, banking arrangements with the Foundation’s financial partners, the administration of the Foundation’s assets and operations and to set policies and strategic goals for the organization.

The Foundation is committed to ensuring governors represent diverse backgrounds and experience. Each Governor offers unique insights to ensure decisions are made in the best interest of The Notary Foundation, its partners and its client organizations.
